The Smugglers crew sheet specifically says Smugglers have a cargo type, not hunting grounds. It seems clear from the sheet that there is no geographic component to this, which makes it quite different from other crew sheets. Is this the way others read it? Is that just a new type of good, or is there some other component?

Callum Grace (sorry, don’t know which one you are to plus you in) suggested that a smuggler crew should pick a type of crew and a faction as their hunting ground equivalent, as in “Our crew specializes in smuggling arcane/weird stuff for the Hive”. Another option might be a type of good and a district as in “our group smuggles contraband into/out of Nightmarket”. But the absence of any other specification feels weird to me for smugglers.

Also, I note that there are four “Turf” options on the claim map for Smugglers. But there are only four types of goods. This would mean you would run out of options by the fourth Turf claim, right (assuming you are able to run a game that long)? This would make more sense to me if a turf claim at least had some aspect of geography and/or faction to it. When other crews gain turf, they don’t change their favored operation, right? They just get to do it in more places.

This feels like a stupid question, but I”m going to ask it anyway.

Silkshore is described in the rulebook as “Hundreds of gondolas gliding to and fro in the spiderweb of canals”.

I look at the map, and do not see a spiderweb of canals.

Is the assumption that many of the things that look like streets on the map are actually canals? Is this case all over the map? Are ALL the streets canals?

Don’t get me wrong. I love the description. I LOVE the map. I’m just having trouble reconciling the two in my mind.

First of all, so happy to have the hardcover in my hands. Such a beautiful book, so happy.

Next of all, is there a post, website, link, or other source that has a list of all the digital stuff that has been released so far after the Kickstarter? I admit I tuned out of the Kickstarter messages while waiting for the hardcover book, but now I want to make sure I haven’t missed anything. By my count, there are 23 different rewards beyond the actual rulebook and base materials.

EDIT: I am referring to things that were unlocked as Kickstarter rewards but would NOT be on the Evil Hat download page. That’s less than 23 things, because some of those things are already in the rulebook.

EDIT2: Also, again, holy crap, so happy with this. I’m not impatient on that other stuff, I’m confident in it arriving in the fullness of time and already have my money’s worth. Just want to make sure I haven’t missed something.
