Does that mean you need to spend three playbook advances to buy one Veteran ability? Or does it mean that you can buy up to three Veteran abilities for your character?

It’s not completely clear to me if the clause “In addition, each PC gets 1 COIN (+2 per crew TIER)…” is triggered as part of the “At the end of each session” activities, or only when the crew actually advances (i.e. when you mark 8 crew advancement ticks). To me, the bonus COIN appears to be part of the effects of levelling up the crew, but some of the other players in my group read it the other way.

If a character loses one of their special archetype Items due to a Consequence during a heist (eg the Cutter has her Fine Heavy Melee Weapon knocked into a canal when disarmed, or similar), is the item replenished automatically during the next Downtime?

Or do you need to do something special to obtain a replacement?

It’s at the Gamers Guild tabletop RPG club, which meets in the Rod Evans Senior Citizen’s Centre, 160 Hay St East Perth. It’s going to be running fortnightly on Saturday evenings (starting roughly 7 pm). Next session is planned for July 9th.

We’ve currently got 4 players on deck (Cutter, Spider, Lurk, Leech) but could handle one or two more.
