Question about groups of enemies (in band of blades and blades in the dark) – if you are fighting a gang of enemies – the scale of them is used to downgrade the effect of damage..

is fighting them like a 4-clock or similar? Trying to get my head around this

In case people haven’t seen this… a poem by Lord Byron – it was written in 1816 (the year without a summer) after some massive volcanic explosions darkened the world for a summer… the sun didn’t shine and you had glorious sunrise/sunsets… and crops failed etc.. (sounding something like blades)

Our final actions for the session, where our little gang decided to retaliate to threats with bloody violence, and we managed to get a pet tavern-keeper and everyone now knows we “look out for Charhollow” 🙂

The heat on this knocked us into our first wanted level… wanted 1 by session 3 – this crew is going to come to a fiery end…

Can’t wait for the next session!

Do we have any imagery of what the “deathlands” outside the lightning fences look like? There is mention of miasma and strange flora and fauna…

i’m imagining something like a “nuclear winter” landscape – lots of barren-ness and strange half dead trees and plants… along with some new things that have adjusted to living in the environment – poisonous/aggressive fungus/lichen/vines… some “demonic” animals and plants etc?

A little while ago Jeff Walker asked about getting a crew together. So led by the fantastic Ben Liepis as our GM, and Kristin Hunt we ventured into the dark Doskvol street.

I put together a little write up from the PoV of my character – Rúna Hrafning, a skovlander highlander from Blackvale who has come to Akeros to try and continue the resistance.
