We get into how Blades handles conflict, my audio/video set up (I use a player facing computer monitor to display images as well as the clocks, and I also play music that fits the scene), and I tell the story of Nihilistic Jeff Bridges to demonstrate that the clocks do not represent hit points but are an obstacle to be overcome.

Recently remembered I backed this and found the quick start rules, 4b. My current Tuesday night game is sans DM at the moment, so I thought I might step up and try to give Blades a shot.
Any recomendations for a novice DM in regards to this system? 😀

So in an effort to improve my games of Blade, I have been reading some play reports on this site as well as others. Anyone else notice that most players automatically side with the Lampblacks? It seems like my group is the only one who goes for the Red Sashes. Just a strange thought.
