Since Andrew Shields brought up adding or emphasizing the Gothic elements of Blades in the Dark in an earlier post, I though I’d offer up a link to the free pdf of Morbid Fantasies for the community here.

Morbid Fantasies is a ‘zine I wrote about the history and genre tropes of Gothic literature. The print version published by Heretical Sexts is long sold out, but we’ve made the pdf available for anyone who wants it. Inside you’ll find all sorts of Gothic elements you could add to a Blades game such as the uncanny, spectres & phantasmal visions, abjection, etc., plus a reading list if you want more inspiration for Gothic plotlines and characters to add to your games.

If nothing else, the art is really good; it was all done by the Art Coven, a group of women artists based out of NYC. Enjoy!
