3. From what I’ve seen, anytime anything too big to be a standard move will start a clock. So like a devil’s bargains, everyone makes clocks.

4. Curious as we’ll know one player that uses them to put off consequences. Are these proposed to GM or just assumed?

5. I’d think that looks like the player suggesting a Devil’s Bargain and the GM not accepting those terms.

6. Aren’t all clocks player initiated? They usually need to not choose to resist or to take the Devil’s Bargain.

7. Thanks for input so far! I was vague in my question as I went to bed… A player asked me and considering what I read here I got good input! 🙂

   I use clocks today (4 sessions) in just the manner “more than a move” – and for tracking factions. Ofc long term projects are included.

   I’ll talk to my player and see if more questions arise.
