Hey everyone, I will be starting Blades tomorrow night (super excited). I was planning on using a theme song every time someone calls for a flashback (à la Ocean’s Eleven) but I don’t want to use something too obvious (like Mission Impossible). Any ideas?

I really like Beats Antique for Blades in general, particularly The Approach. play.spotify.com – Spotify Web Player – The Approach – Beats Antique
I’m also a big fan of rap for Blades. Here’s a playlist I slapped together a bit ago. https://open.spotify.com/user/lemadpierrot/playlist/5Rt7kPttA9OP2GnltVmSF6
If you just want something atmospheric, one my players composed this — I think it’s pretty great. soundcloud.com – Blades in the Dark – Theme by Schafer.Gray
What about something from the Leverage soundtrack?
Beats Antique is good. Most of the Assassin’s Creed soundtracks are fun, too. I’m perhaps overfond of AC:Unity. The soundtrack for Kafka has good bits, but that may be hard to find. Depending on taste, Carnivals might also suit your track-mining needs.
If ever I get an U’duasha game going, Songs from the Victorious City (Anne Dudley and Jaz Coleman) will be getting added to the list.
I’ve been pulling together a playlist I can throw on random for our game this weekend; it’s mostly electronic music, and I tried to avoid anything with any real lyrics. Most things that hit what I wanted were by the Glitch Mob, so it’s heavily tilted towards them.
