What sorts of actions have people seen using Attune in play?

What sorts of actions have people seen using Attune in play? I’ve run two games of Blades, and though it has only been rolled once I would like to have a better grasp on the action to help my players.

  1. Back when my players were running a cult, the Whisper attuned a lot to invoke their god to perform all sorts of strange miracles.

    Basically anything spooky is probably involving Attune.

    Examples include:

    Trapping a ghost in a spirit bottle.

    Summoning the spirit of your god to possess someone, driving them into a bloodthirsty rage.

    Touching the sleeping mind of a Forgotten God.

    Calling your god to manifest in the world.

    We also used it for a few rituals, but that doesn’t really mesh with the new ritual rules.

  2. I have characters use Attune to activate spirit bane charms, see ghosts, detect magical traps, detect supernatural influences in people, and synch up with special enchanted objects to use them.

  3. I’ve had players use attune to knock out lights in a building run on an electroplasmic generator, control the actions of hollows, discern and disable ghost based traps, travel great distances by using spirit doors, etc.
