  1. David Benson It’s the same situation with a 1st edition of a game that wins and then gets a 2nd edition. The edition that wins is the edition that wins. You don’t win an award in perpetuity.

    In this case, that means Blades in the Dark early access (v6) is the winner. It’s a complete, playable RPG, so it’s eligible for the award.

    To say “it’s not released” isn’t true. The game is currently available for sale and playable as is. What’s true is that the hardcover special edition isn’t finished. But the hardcover special edition didn’t win the award.

  2. Well, the Print & Play version of Dungeon Solitaire: Labyrinth of Souls was also nominated and I am still drawing the cards. But its nice to see it at least got nominated. And John’s QS was playable right from the start, I dont see any problem here.
