Burglaries vs. Robberies.
Isn’t it damned risky Heat-wise to Rob people, versus sneaking in a stealing all of their stuff?
I mean, can a Bank Robbery ever be low Exposure? Should a GM automatically always give the bigger scores to the biggest exposure to lure players into the spotlight?
Should there be an exponential line between Risk and Reward?
One of m players made that observation, as we were talking of what to do, now they have gotten rid of the murdergas.
Sneaking in and stealing stuff without being detected is hard. Most people don’t have the patience for it.
True. But, can there be such as thing as low exposure robbery?
Søren Hjorth I think part of the issue is the threat of violence. If someone sneaks into your place and takes your stuff, it’s possible no one gets hurt and there was no intent to harm. For a mugging, the threat of violence against the target’s body is necessary for the robbery to work.
Violent crimes provoke a higher response from those threatened. That’s my explanation for why robbery is higher heat.
True. I was just curious if such a thing could be done.
I propose a way to do it without violence, but with a massive increase of Heat because of how intolerably criminal it is.
Hollowalkers train spirits to possess the wealthy long enough to collect valuables and leave them at a drop point.
