What are the between the Special Edition Final/Final #2 and the Special Edition Pledge Download? I haven’t had the chance to look over them closely.

  1. The v8.1 that I just downloaded from the Backerkit link appears to be the final pdf that is being printed/sent to the printers. The Backerkit title is “Blades in the Dark Digital Rewards Download of Standard”. I’ve not seen a d/l with the names you are listing.

  2. There is one rule change from v8 to v8.1 and that’s how Rep is calculated. The crew gets 2 Rep by default for a score +1 Rep for every Tier the opponent is above the crew or -1 Rep for very Tier lower they are. See page 146

  3. I think that’s more of a correction as that’s going back to how Rep was previously calculated and I remember John saying it was an erorr when it was mentioned.

  4. Ben Liepis. Kickstarter backers who pledged at Hardcase or higher, or BackerKit pre-orders of the Special Edition get the special edition book (once it’s shipped) and PDF (now) which contains 24 pages on U’duasha.

  5. Indeed. Can we possibly look forward to additional writeups on other cities in the Empire in some kind of supplement? I’d be interested to see the situations going on in Lockport, Wintercliff, or South Point.

  6. A Blades almanac? Sounds like another KS… 🙂

Oh, the city icons in the world map have white and black dots. What are the differences? Or is it up to us?

  7. I just noticed that the rail to Tycheros doesn’t have a settlement/city icon. Interesting…perhaps there’s just a fortified roundhouse that monitors the traffic to and from the “Demon Isle”.

As far as the black icons are concerned they could be free cities-states that aren’t part of the Empire, but aren’t at open war or anything. It might stand to reason that not every piece of each nation just caved.

    Or they’re smaller cities. 🙂
