As soon as I decided to run Blades in the Dark I got back to the Discworld novels and started reading the novels of the City Watch of Ankh-Morpork.

In just a few hours I already fleshed out so many ideas I had an a lot of new ones. Has Discworld been an inspiration to any of you when running or playing Blades?

  1. Absolutely! Ankh-Morpork is as corrupt a hot bed of skullduggery as you are ever likely to find. Re-reading DW is usually what spurs me to run my off-again on-again Blades campaign instead of the usual D&D session on any given week.
