I played and live streamed Blades for the first time today (as opposed to GMing) as an Iruvian jester in love with a possessor ghost.
Gotta say, playing’s just as fun as GMing (luckily I get to do both in an average week). The infinite possibility for the flashbacks is really tasty, and I love that our group is trying to tear up Duskwall from top to bottom from the very first session. (Ambitious was a great reputation choice).
Sounds wonderful Adam! I haven’t played yet (only GM’d) and would love to try a GM-Ful game 🙂
I also long to play some day, alas my group’s other GM sticks mainly to various flavors of D&D.
Mark Griffin I’m in the same boat. It’s a rough life, but Blades has proven to be a wild enough ride on the GM side to keep me invested. About to start my second Blades group.
Nathan Roberts I’ve played and made GMful games before. It makes more sense when you start playing, and its nice to have the player-role equality that GMful games have.
