Ooooh. I just got my grubby mitts on this as ‘thematic reference’ for Blades. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

I need this.
I snagged a copy of this (as well as “The Art of Thief”) for inspiration. Very nice.
Beautiful!!
Another thing I’ve been using for inspiration is Gustave Dore’s 1871 book on London. You can get cheap Dover reprints of it like this one: http://www.amazon.com/Dorés-London-Illustrations-Pilgrimage-History/dp/0486432726/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1427565976&sr=8-1&keywords=dore+london
If you google image search “Dore” and “London”, you can get an idea of what the illustrations are like. Lots of good, grimy city scenes.
Ooooh John Marron ! That is disturbing and yet so evocative all at once. Thanks for the tip!
Yeah, Dore is amazing.
I restarted dishonored from all the blades talk
I’m thinking I need to find out more about this ‘Dishonored’ thing.
Its a great game Richard!

Dishonored looks good.
Finished downloading last night. Thanks to Steam, I’ll be firing it up in a few minutes!
My Advice Richard? Explore and enjoy all the little avenues to your goal in the game. It is rather dynamic!
I love that feedback loop of tabletop – video game – back to tabletop RPG. Such exciting times!
Thanks, Nathan. I’m trying to avoid playing as a MURDER hobo, but that’s pretty tough.
I had one playthrough keeping kills to a minimum, now I went back in with an intent to kill everything in sight (to get the other ending). But I’m finding it hard to go through the same again. It’s a pretty tight story that doesn’t feel very different going through it again.
