First Character Sheet Deluxe for #aFistfulOfDarkness
Inspired by Galen Pejeau sheets for his Spirit Hack but totally different style ๐
Hope you like it.
I’m planning to create a roll20 set of props for A Fistful of Darkenss. So, if you’re planning a test game, please let me know. I’m totally ready to pimp your playing table.
This is awesome!
Miguel Arnaiz Dime que esta mezcla de Deadlands con Blades no tiene una pintaca brutal ^^
Oh wow. This sheet is dripping with style. What a brilliant piece of art! Well done.
Pues si, lo pongo en mi lista!
Bernat Anton Miguel Arnaiz I don’t speak or read Spanish but having the words “Deadlands” “Blades” & “brutal” in one sentence is a good omen for my hack…?
Thomas Berton Niall O’Donnell Thanks! ๐ I’m especially proud of the clocks and the poker chips for stash. Glad you like them.
Totally agree. The clocks are incredible!
This is a great example of the style of the game directly informing the substance.
I can very easily imagine saying something like “spin up a cylinder” instead of “start a clock”. “Load a bullet” for each notch, and “fire” when the clock’s complete.
Stefan Struck I am totally keeping an eye on your hack since I first read about it! ๐
Sorry about the language, I was just notifying him about your work ^^
Stefan Struck, I loved the idea of the hack and the style of the playbook. So, good omens!
Bernat Anton Miguel Arnaiz Glad you like it. No problem at all concerning language. It’s just still strange that I sit here in Germany and you across the Globe/Europe, sharing fun a bout the same game. Cool!
I really can’t wait for this, it’s a perfect fit for the Blades rules set.
Stefan Struck We’re only from Barcelona, not so far away… But yeah, it’s great to be able to share our hobbies with people everywhere! ๐
Pete Nixon Great! ๐ Alpha Version of the rules are out, so if you want the be the early bird, that would be cool.
Bernat Anton Juegan Blades y hablan espaรฑol! Al fin!
Si llegan a armar una mesa para jugar por internet avisen por favor, no encuentro gente!! Un saludo.
The style of your sheets look so epic!
I intend to playtest this at somepoint, so if you could hook me up with some roll20 stuff that’d be awesome!
That is very slick indeed!
I’m a little concerned that the Grit and Trauma bullet tracks would be hard to mark legibly, but they look awesome.
And I love the dual effect of “Man of Honor”.
Those contact names are very very good.
This is incredible. Love it!
I was just about to print the sheets of the alpha manual. But this is so cool i’ll wait for the others.
Great work, can’t wait to play it.
Antimatter I’m planning to have the clocks ready, soon. The 4-clock and 6-clocks are already visible on the sheet. Problem is the 8-clock. A cylinder with 8 bullets just don’t look cool enough. I will provide a double 4-clocks as a 8 clock and we’ll see how this works out. I’ll provide an background / wallpaper as well. Do you need something else for your table?
Benjamin Davis Thanks! I’m a bit concerned, too but I tried for higher contrast for a long time now, even drawing it all be myself or using illustrations of bullets. It just didn’t work out because of not enough grit. So, let’s see what the playtesting will say about that and tweak again afterwards.
Thanks about the “Man of Honor”: For me, Blades is a “story-perpetuum-mobile” and I tried to support that here. The other playbooks as additional xp triggers as well and I hope they work in this direction, too. BTW an idea I stole from Adam Schwaninger. Thanks for that!
Nikolaj Munk Thanks! I knew that watching too much TV would pay out some day ๐
John Harper Thanks, John. Coming from you, that means a lot to me.
Franco bianchini let me know which playbook you need. It may take some time to convert them all (because there are so many) and I still have to do the Posse/Crew sheets. So, if you give me a tip, I create the ones you need first. Cool btw to have someone from Italy. First Spain, now Italy. I like the thought that we Europeans are playing the Wild Werid West together.
Stefan Struck
Italy! No, i’m from Argentina.
Its normal in Argentina to have italian or german blood (and some other too)
But’s still cool, don’t you think? Take your time. I will use the normal ones untill the new ones are ready!!
Franco bianchini Oops. Sorry for that. Of course Argentina is cool, too. Some kilometers more around the globe. ๐
If you change your mind and need a specific playbook let me know. I will switch priorities for you.
Stefan Struck Do you have character sheets too? Or is it more decorative things like Clocks and backgrounds?
Antimatter I only have an basic account at roll20. So, no character sheets from me.
Stefan Struck Ah OK no sweat ๐ the clocks and background are still good ๐ I’ll just use the default Blades sheets!
Antimatter clocks are ready for download, see https://plus.google.com/u/0/+StefanStruck/posts/UAmhtDj1tPm
BTW in the meantime roll20 sheets are ready, too
