Thinking ahead to a Blades game I plan to run, I grabbed a bunch of the most characterful daguerrotypes I could find, put them together as cards, and slapped a space on them to write a name. Feel free to use them for your NPCs, and if you point me at more cool pictures I’ll happily add them. 🙂

Oh my word. These are fabulous! Where did you get the originals? Also, is that James Corden on top of page 8?
Wow, what a great compilation! Combined with the photo printer Rob Donoghue posted as part of his GM kit last week, this is something I’ll have to keep a tab on. Thanks!
Great idea and cool looking
Only thing I’d like to improve: the name panels. Masking tape’s not exactly fitting. Anyone have an image of something that’d be more suitable?
Adam Minnie just searched for “daguerreotype” on Pinterest. Some of the portraits are known historical personages, but not sure about James Cordon. Page 8 top left is a criminal mugshot, as are all of the ones where they’re holding their hands up. Apparently hands were considered useful for identification back then.
Updated these with a frame and nameplate, and added a few new cards too, so 84 characters in total. The masking tape PDF is still available at the original link, and the new one’s here: dropbox.com – BladesCharacterCardsv02.pdf
These are amazing. I love being able to throw down a card for the inspector or noble they are speaking with!
Lord Necr0 exactly what I was thinking. It’s getting big enough, I might have to start some categories: Law, Military, Iruvians, etc.
Oh I like that new framing a lot. The variety in these is outstanding.
I was teasing about James Corden btw. 🙂
Added a bunch of new faces, and rejiggered the layout for better cutting. 🙂 dropbox.com – BladesCharacterCardsv03.pdf
