So…I guess somehow the posts for this community weren’t showing in my stream. No idea how that happened.

Anyway, I’m gearing up for a Blades game and I had an idea for a score after reading a review that was talking about how it’s always night and the PCs can’t change the world.

The score would be: A piece of the sun.

What would that be worth? What might it do? How could it be used? Who might be interested in it?

  1. I think the book talks about shards of the sun burning on the horizon. It’s not impossible that tiny shards are available to the most discerning collectors. If kept a secret, a piece of the Dead Sun could provide enough energy to power huge radiant greenhouse, or a truly monstrous Hull. The imaginative and the devious will no doubt think of yet more potential applications of such a powerful artifact.

  2. I imagine something like that would be incredibly rare and valuable. I would make the set up for a score like that costly and complicated for the PCs.

Or you might have someone making outrageous claims that they are in possession, or know of the location of such an item. It could turn out to be a fraud or an illusion created by ghosts or a demon.
