I’d pin this fact on being conceptually closer to D&D than a lot of other rpgs, in that you play a group that has various specialties working towards the same goal and that the aesthetic of BITD is very strong.
Depends on how you define “mainstream coverage.” Geek And Sundry, for example, has covered multiple other PbtA games.
