Watching Jessica Jones, is there a superhero hack of Blades? Jessica’s relationship to alcohol reminded me of Blades vice mechanics.

And Luke Cage would be great for the Factions.
The Vigilantes playset for Blades will do what you’re asking, but no, no full street hero hack of BitD yet
Every time I hear about Vigilantes, I get excited again, before I remember that it’s about vigilantes in Duskvol, not a supers hack.
Alfred Rudzki Hitchcock in some ways yes Vigilantes touches on this. But in chatting with my game group I might try my hand at a hack. I was thinking of something that was straight up comic book fiction(Avengers/X-men/Fantastic Four/Watchmen). Although my comic book collecting days are decades behind me there’s something about this idea that caught my interest.
It would have to be more X-Men than Avengers, in my opinion. Outliers who can do cool stuff but struggle to get their cut of the pie – that’s the Blades spirit for me.
Surely you mean super villains 🙂
I want I want I want I want a super villains hack SO BAD.
Streets of Passion is pretty close (‘80s crime / action movies, with ninja and cyborgs and drug dealing badasses), and Copperhead County has some interesting ideas about law / jail / etc. in a more modern context.
One of the hacks unlocked as a stretch goal for the KS is for low-level villains in a supers world, I believe. Called The Doomed. “The Doomed takes Blades in the Dark to the worlds of superheroes. You’ll be playing the small-time villains trying to make it big in a world where an alien invasion is just another Tuesday. New characters and crew types give you everything you need to play in the style of The Superior Foes of Spider-Man and the Giffen/DeMatteis Injustice League.”
Yes, but I want to … have it.
