My player’s crew have taken them as one of their starting -2 factions, I suspect because they wanted an easy ride. The crew are smugglers with and interest in Occult stuff.

What have people done with The Church of the Weeping Lady?
The church are “witch hunters” is what comes to mind.
In my version, the Church of the Weeping Lady is one of the few upstanding factions in the city — providing welfare to those that are genuinely screwed in Doskvol. It could be that the church may not be taking direct action against the crew, but rather anyone that’s associated with the Weeping Lady will not do any business with the scoundrels. Maybe the crew’s grudge war with the church gives them a stigma that’s bad for business.
Also, several members of the church are ex-pats from the war, soldiers that are now atoning for their personal demons from the battlefield. So the Weeping Lady isn’t a pushover, they could potentially get really dangerous with a fierce zealotry for peace to justify their actions.
In one of our sessions the church’s orphans were being harvested by evil necromantic forces.
