Yep, Stras Acimovic and John LeBoeuf-Little have a text and layout complete version of Scum and Villainy out now. This is happening!

Also! Since art is still in development, we can help make the game better by reporting any errors we find over yonder: https://goo.gl/v7W7t2 (I’m going through it right now!)

How to get a hold of this beauty?

* If you were a Blades Kickstarter backer, you should have just receive a backer update with a link to it.

* If not, you can get the Digital Edition Early Access over on DriveThru here: http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/198681/Scum-and-Villainy-Digital-Edition-Early-Access

  1. So glad I purchased the Digital Edition Early Access. But this has become the Kickstarter Campaign I want to build a time machine for. This is just as prolific a campaign as Fate Core was…

  2. Hey: page 62 has two sections entitled “Family Names.” That’s probably a typo, as a heads up.

Edit: I just noticed the error form! Whoops!

  3. Sean Nittner hey am I backer if I missed the Kickstarter but got in soon enough to get the special edition book off the post KS fundraising ? If not no biggy already purchased SnV because it’s shaping up to be the best space game out there, but more for the other hacks coming down the road.

  4. I took a look and saw that the majority of the difference was base blades rules being included in Scum & Villainy directly. Is there any kind of changelog in case there were other changes like to character abilities or ship features?

  5. Also, I have assumed so far that even though S&V doesn’t use crew claims like BitD, that arrest still involves an incarceration roll and the prison claim sheet, but I don’t see anything about incarceration in the 1.7 S&V pdf. Was my assumption wrong? Does S&V not give any guidance on what to do when a character is arrested?

  6. This is looking very nice, I love how explicit the text is, and how it has extensive changes to account for the tonal changes between S&V and Blades.

Also, I’ll be trying to report all the typos I have seen, there are quite a few of them left in the text.

  7. Checking for typos is tougher than I had imagined, being only on page 198 now with at least 50 or so errors reported — on the other hand, I get to read the text in a very focused way, and I like what I’m seeing.
