Question to all you people making hacks of BitD. I’ve seen lots of great examples of pdfs. Have you used a template or made the whole thing yourself in photoshop/ indesign / whatever?

At the moment creators are working from scratch, but John is working on a template that has been De-Bladed that folks can use along with the SRD.
Also, some people got access to the game InDesign files as a reward from the Kickstarter.
Parker Emerson Also made a nice scribus template here: libercacophoniae.wordpress.com – Blank Blades in the Dark Character Template
I have PDFs in progress for the SR hack and Star Trek hack, that are both using templates I set up myself with InDesign. I occasionally borrow placement from the Blades design files but this is a backer item, and this rarely works seamlessly because of the difference in file intent (print vs digital) and has also created some work despite saving some guesswork otherwise.
Whoa, Sean Nittner – didn’t know that and it sounds pretty helpful considering the above.
Mark Cleveland Massengale, yep, but it will be similar to what you’re doing now. Take the template and build off it, rather than use it as is. Should be a good starting point though.
Alright then, thanks!
I made mine in LaTeX ….. :-/
I have a very low sense of self preservation and made it up as I went along. This was not smart and I regret it a little.
