So has anyone started a hack for Kill 6 Billion Demons? If not, why not?

Because an official KSBD PbtA game is already in the works, perhaps?
Yup. The author of KSBD was working on a PbtA game. Patreon supporters are getting updates.
Edit: That’s not to say you, or anyone else, shouldn’t make a hack of BitD or run a game of it inspired by KSBD. A game of demonic criminals set in Throne would be pretty cool. 🙂
I think Blades could make a very cool K6BD game, but it wouldn’t be the same kind of cool as the comic.
Guild wars in the Red City of Throne, with the PCs struggling to build a power base in an ancient corrupt metropolis at the center of the multiverse where everybody is owned by somebody else and power never accomplishes quite as much as you’d like? Yeah, that’s super Blades, and it would kick ass!
But the comic is about free agents doing their own thing, not being tied down to any one place or set of ideals or group of people or… anything but their own burning desires, really. You’d have to leave a good bit of the system behind to make it work.
So basically the crew playbook would have to go James Etheridge or most of it?
Probably, and also the faction game; Individuals are way more important than organizations. Rep arguably isn’t important either, or might be more individual than group oriented (e.g. Cio gets recognized, but nobody knows who the frell Allison is yet). Coin and gear aren’t a big deal, so payoffs and scores would need to be reworked; maybe individual Rep (call it Karma?) could be banked towards accomplishing your burning drive or something.
It would be a very different game.
