A new version of the Roll20 character sheet will be going live later today. In case you are wondering where the factions on the crew sheet went: they’re on the the new faction page (click the “crew mode” button at the top to get to it).
The existing factions+status+notes are dumped into a text field on that page, for you to fill in after generating the factions.
Also, check out the “Add abilities” and “Add friends/contacts” buttons in the settings menu. Just in case you don’t like entering stuff into fields yourself…
Thanks so much for the hard work!
Yeah your sheets are amazing. If I have started a game with the previous sheets will the players have to create their characters again in the new sheets?
Iain McAllister They will.
Rightio
Has this happened yet? The game I run seems to still have the last version (with the factions just on the Crew page). Also created a new test game, which also uses the last version.
Thanks for all your work on the sheets Jakob Oesinghaus! They really are immensely useful, and do a ton to alleviate some of the complications that come with running games online. You rock!
No! Roll20 are being slow somehow. As I understand it, there’s some manual step involved in putting the Github stuff on the live server, which hasn’t happened yet. It happened within 24 hours of pulling last time, but apparently it’s slower this time around *shrug*.
And… thanks!
Aaaand just when I say that and check again on Roll20, it’s live :P.
Wooooo!
Slight twinge of fear last night when our group opened the crew sheet and did not see any faction information, fear immediately replaced with joy when we saw the new faction page. Thanks again for all the hard work.
Jakob Oesinghaus Sorry but I’m unable to locate the “Add Abilities” and “Add friends/contacts” buttons. Factions are there, so I’m pretty sure that I have the latest version. On which settings menu are they?
Stefan Struck Click the little gear in the top right.
Jakob Oesinghaus Yes, thanks. I was looking in the games setting, this little gear thingy was to small for my old eyes. Thanks a LOT not only for this hint but for those awesome sheets, too. Cool!
It’s really a great sheet, almost* perfect.
*It’s just a detail, but it doesn’t seem possible to edit “Strange friends” on the character sheet.
Tom Z I can make the “Strange Friends” title editable for 1.0, no problem.
