To Boldly Go
To Boldly Go is a game about a group of brave officers coming together as the crew of a United Federation of Planets exploration vessel. There are tense negotiations, daring maneuvers, dangerous combat, and a wide galaxy of potential. We will play to find out if this green Starfleet crew can mesh into a highly efficient and discerning team while facing previously unknown threats, powerful Klingons, devious Romulans, forgotten technology, new phenomena, and strange beings all while retaining the dignity that makes them exemplars of Starfleet.
Some of you may remember that last summer I was working on a Star Trek hack of Blades in the Dark. Unfortunately, due to some life stuff, I had to put the project on hold. I still don’t have the time to do much more with it, but I figured I’d organize what I had into a usable quickstart. Feel free to use this as you like, whether for play or your own hacks. Let me know if you end up playing it, hacking it further, or using it in any other way! Enjoy!!!

aha: I wondered what happened to our plan to combine our efforts last year.. I see now you just got busy IRL. My hack is about 3 versions deeper into development than when we traded our work before. And 🙂 it seems you incorporated some of my ideas from Final Frontier into yours. Will definitely provide acknowledgement and special thanks in my work since I will probably visit this document to confirm my thoughts as I update to the Blades-final way of doing things.
My group is using To Boldly Go for a campaign. So far it’s going well, two sessions down and some serious complications with a new space tunnel are developing. Qapla’!
Andrea Ungaro Awesome! I’m really glad to hear that. If it’s not too big of a hassle, you’ll have to keep me updated.
No problem, but I am leaving for my holidays in a few days, so further updates will have to be postponed to September when we’ll restart Trekking 🙂
Cool! No pressure or anything. I just get excited to hear about people playing my games.
