We are still in the midst of character creation, one player was out of town so no score tonight. But my players weren’t content with your regular vices, no drinking or gambling here.
I have a Whisper who is obsessed with painting temporary tattoos on people, or himself if no one volunteers. He wants the ink he uses to be “spirit infused” Not sure how to work that one yet
Then there is the Cutter from the Dagger Isles with his Bonsai collection
And I have a Lurk with an obsession with all things clockwork
Sounds like a cool bunch of cats. If you want advice on weirdo whispers and their supernatural tattoos, Stras Acimovic may have a thought or two 😉
Awesome! Pretty sure the Cutter should henceforth be called the Pruner.
Remember that ideally, each character’s vice should have a “provider” so that things can go wrong. 😉
Also, how do you overindulge in bonsai? Sounds more like a hobby than a vice.
Heh, that was Oskarr’s hobby for a lot of the first part of BloodLetters (demon-blood tattoo’s).
Mike Pureka while not all details have been worked out, for the Bonsai vice I think we are going with the local parks as a provider, that is the need to find a new plants. Jayan park in Charterhall will be the cause of most of his overindulgence rolls
Neat! Just wanted to make sure you’d thought that one through far enough for it to work. 🙂
Mike Pureka, overindulgence gets him into serious trouble, because then the character is pruning everyone’s bushes, not just his own! (Random Bluecoat) :Hey, you can’t prune that! The city owns that!” “Watch me.”
This reminds me of the Beavis & Butthead episode where they prune the house.
Anyway, you could totally overindulge pruning bonsai when alone. You’re obsessed with getting it perfect, buying new trees/implements/etc. Perhaps they’re radiant bonsai and the way they’re cultivated determines the light that’s given off.
A score could be a box of ultra-rare seeds from the Dagger Isles as well as leviathan blood and the exact style of spirit essence. Living art infused with the beaty of death!
These are the kind of vices that lead to scores for securing rare specimens of their vice.
Perhaps stealing the purveyor as a claim? Then watch hilarity ensue as a member of the crew overindulges at a vice den they own!
