Did a bigger version of the Doskvol Map and printed it on rigid foam.

Did a bigger version of the Doskvol Map and printed it on rigid foam. I was always a bit irritated that north was on the left and therefor I rotated Johns Map and added the labels again to stay true to the orginal as much as possible.

Then I did my fake old map thing togehter with a fake mock thing and voilá (see picture for result). I’m pretty proud of the result, it looks really cool.

I plan to use it as a prop or as a true map on the game table (with markings). We’ll see how this work out.

  1. Aaaah! Praise from my fellow blades is my vice, it seems. Thanks for that, I’m clearing stress 🙂

Sharing to the public is a problem because of that crow I lifted from pinterest and because the material belongs to John Harper … but if you contact me directly via g+ we’ll find a way to share for private use only. Please include Stefan Struck in your post, thanks.

  2. I did an iron on transfer of the Territories when we played Mouse Guard that the group just loved. Rolling out this “old” cloth map was so much fun. I wonder where I put those old transfer sheets…

  3. Again, thanks to everybody for praising the humble map dilettant. I’m not planning to make money with that, the fun is enough. Making graphical stuff is my method to cope with waiting for the next Blades session, which are – I’m afraid – not often enough for my taste.

I’m obviously not good enough in G+ direct messaging because I don’t get any notifications when you use the Stefan Struck tag.

So, if you want the file for personal use only please send an e-mail to in@monkeyecho.de. I’ll send you the link ASAP.

  4. Mark Wiand Well, I sent the file to our local printing provider. I chose rigid foam as medium because i wanted something to scribble on during Blades session.

To make myself clear here: You can have the file to print it yourself. I don’t offer a printed version (no shipping) and I don’t earn money with that.

  5. No. Maybe I got your addy wrong or…as happens…”tablet Yahoo” ate it. So, if OK, my plan is to take the image somewhere to print it on a vinyl mat, provided both yourself and John are fine with doing that. It’s for personal use only, of course.

My e-mail’s benjamin_liepis@yahoo.com, if you have the time to send it my way.

  6. That REALLY LOOKS NICE! New to Blades, still waiting for my book. But I’d love to have a map like that waiting for it when it gets home. 🙂 I’ll be sending you an email for a link. Please!
