I played my first session of Blades on Monday.
The group set fire to a warehouse and Ulf Ironborn is ether:
Dead
Really annoyed with the group
or
Possessed by an angry ghost of a Bluecoat
So it went well. I post my full session reports on Who Dares Rolls so you’ll hear the gory details there soon enough. I just need to finish my AP report of Ghost Lines first.
Schroedinger’s Ulf?
He died offscreen, plummeting into the Void Sea while a ghost-possessed minion was throttling the life out of him. I’m sure it’ll be fine.
Well thanks for giving me this mental image:
Ulf drowned in the Void Sea, swearing vengeance in words cut off by the dark water. As he was immediately possessed by the vengeful ghost of a Bluecoat and became a vampire, something else dark and malicious was called by the blood and death and oath and slipped a tiny small tentacle of power into the spirit and body as they bonded.
…what could possible go wrong with that? (Also, maybe I just need to see a vampire explode into tentacles dripping with seawater, and I’m adding this to Things I’m Going To Have To Do In My Game. 🙂 )
Why not all three?
(He said, only half joking because, y’know, Blades)
My groups leech glued the entrances to Ulf Ironborns lair shut and then the players set fire to the building. So Ulf dying in a fire isn’t that uncommon. 😉
