So I haven’t made it very far in the series yet but a setting like Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell (Netflix) could easily be be done using Blades. Just replace the words ghost and devil with fey and archfey and your pretty much done. Easiest hack ever, and you don’t have worry about the Whisper summoning a world eater.

Yes, I’ve borrowed many archetypes from JS&MrN for Blades sessions, its a rather good fit. I’ve been leaning heavily on David Cornish’s work lately too.
I actually playtested Harbingers of Twilight, which is a Blades hack in this vein.
For those of us who don’t know, what is Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell?
It was a book about 19th century Napoleonic War England, where magic was real at some point and has faded away except for some eccentrics hobos and a few real practitioners. There are groups of occult gentlemen’s groups that discuss theory while socializing. Eventually they get into deals with Fey and trade lives for magic. It was turned into a show on the BBC, and is now on Netflix.
