You know what would be AWESOME? If v.6 had a TABLE of CONTENTS. Like, you could just print it out and slip it under the cover page like it was there all along.

(You know what’s awesome? Loading up a .pdf then noticing you have ONE TYPO. “Quick Star” And then making a new .pdf and uploading it because of ONE TYPO. Let me know if you see others.)

It may also be helpful to use a pen to put page numbers on the pages that don’t have them, for quick reference.
Err yes sort of. I have printed out parts of the printer friendly QS several times and if the content doesn’t change between releases do not print that page. As a result I have lots of pages with out of sequence page numbers in my folder. That doesn’t help when I’m looking some thing up but is a useful thing when some material (the playthrough) is dropped from subsequent versions. I always have the quick ref sheets printed on thin card to hand to make finding those easier when I’m MC ing though.
Nigel Clarke It may be more helpful to people who have just gotten on board with the release of the quick start to the public, or people who have not been keeping up on the long trail.
Since it is landscape and really hard to use in a binder, when I ran previous quickstarts, I found that I was shuffling out the most useful pages, and then after a session I’d have various kinds of reference pages here and there, and trying to put the thing back together again required cross-referencing with the electronic document.
I figure if I have a table of contents, and maybe some of those tape flags, I should be okay finding things quickly.
I think it’s a good idea but for what, less than 50 pages, hardly necessary and I have a binder that I turn sideways when I use it so the landscape stuff printed on A4 paper works fine for me.
The current quick start is 80 pages. I have it in a binder too, but printed it one sided, as it’s difficult to use the back of the page.
My binder is a flip over one so it’s easy to double side the pages.
I’m glad that works for you.
And/or an index
You are a constant source of great supplemental material. Thanks for making stuff!
Thanks!
Oh man, this beats the pants off of the TOC i wrote in pen on the front of my print out. Thanks!
