I can’t help you, but I am more lost than a squid in a garage is the best phrase I have heard all day.
Definitely start with the quickstart: its great and utterly pickup-and-play, and the beauty of a new band of thieves (and the Vice system) is that the game will pretty much write itself. Depending on your group’s experience and tendencies, you might want to initially stress how much freedom of action and agency they have. Depends on your players.
Oh, and definitely pick up John’s excellent free mini game Ghost Lines. It will definitely help set the mood/expand on the setting.
