Ok the preliminary Sheet is done. I will post some more when I have all of them done.
I am musing about to skip all rulespart to a second sheet next to it. So that I have mo0re place for the Playbook Abilities. Both pages should be good readable on an Letter size sheet.
What do you guys think? Keep the rules in this or throw them out on a general reference sheet? Dylan Green, Nathan Roberts s, Andrew Shields s
So far I designed this sheet to work as 5.5×8.5 as well as 8.5×11 inch. Also it may be a bit small.
It is a matter of preference. I like separate reference sheets personally. I tend to focus a sheet on things you need to know about your character.
True to that. Its my preferable solution to keep things condence. But i also like former designs by john with one page rules and one page charasheet to Hand out realy all thats needed to play
The thing is though, the sheet is NOT all you need to play. It just has some reminders. I think it is better to have a reference sheet for those who need it, and let the GM help players wrap mechanics around what they’re trying to do. (My .02 anyway.)
Yes i am more and more agreeing. I will send you my new sheet when I have it done.
By the way, what would you expect as playbooks for a military/SciFi/Apocalypse set? The Aedile serves as a commander/ heavy Battle supporter. I have a Scout, a medic, a technician, an infiltrator and an Lore/Alien specialised scientice, and an Magistrate for social elements.
Could be fun to have a playbook mashing together pilot and diplomat. Since the pilot would be the one always at the edge of space, right? =) And it gives a talking role to someone who otherwise has to run the ship. Just a thought.
Looks solid to me.
It seems like you could have some weird medic + priest or fighter + priest types who are alright in a scrap and really well-suited to finding heresy and lighting it on fire. But that could already be covered here.. I can’t quite seem to make out all the playbook advancements available.
Still, looks awesome, especially the skill/attribute setup. Very cool hack.
I had the Magistrate beeing a priest type but maybe i should seperate it.
And its only one planet, no space travel at tjis moment so instead of a Pilot i make a Transporter or Reckon Officer
What about a mecanic/explosives expert? In the future, people who know how to patch things up all seem very good at blowing them up!
I’m a fan of all the stuff needed to play on the back of the character sheet… In fact I do this with Blades at the moment. Torchbearer and Mouseguard character sheets are a great example of this (As is John’s other character sheet designs).
I think the diplomat / politician / CEO rep is its own playbook from the cult leader. Sic-fi tropes often have the Religious Nut & the Scheming Politician, they are both social but in entirely different ways and means.
Lovely Hack Josephe!

Player are members of an Operation, they can command troups and hire specialists. They protect a rare settlement of human resistance called Praetorium rules by a Praetor Prime, the Legatus (Military commander) and the Senatorium.
The World is at siege, for decades now. Giant Alien creatures appeared and spread Havoc,
Ok Andrew Shields I updated the sheet and added a “War-Chronicle” Section instead of teh rules, with elements player can use to spark their characters history into life. Its hopefully also helping to provide a bound to the world.
