Here’s the updated Warden from Blades Against Darkness.
The goal here has been to try and re-interpret the traditional Sword and Sorcery concepts and give them something special. The Warden is someone who patrols the border between the civilized world and the darkness outside. They are a wanderer, a hunter, an outsider.
They’re sorta a mix of the Ranger and the Bard with a bit of the Barbarian and Batman thrown in for good measure.

I’ve been waiting for this moment is immensely powerful. Truly every flashback roll? I feel improving position in the current situation might (slightly) be less intrusive.
Yeah that’s supposed to be 1 less stress.
Hi, my only critic on the Warden is that with Ahab + Stalker and Ahab + No Quarter, choosing a broad nemesis like outlaws or undead for Ahab, nearly always gives +2 D for the Warden in offensive as well as in defensive battle. I would split Potency and +1D and spread them more for balancing or replace them by more fluff concentrated abilities. Considering that players also can choose a +1D on a melee or range attack by taking Veteran, it turned this kind of character into a walking killermachine.

What’s so bad about a walking killer machine? I rather like The Terminator 😉
I am not always a fan of overwhelming combat classes
