So, I’d like to get some other folks opinion on this. I know the teamwork rules are optional and players can do individual actions. Do you folks think that multiple players could work on a single obstacle clock with their own actions and have each of their results apply towards completing it individually? That seems possible as long as each player working on it faces some sort of possibility of danger from their actions.

Yeah: there are 4 orks, in 4 different rooms, each with a pie, and the PCs each enter a different room.
each ork is a sector.
Did I get it right?
I think it depends on how you create the clocks. they can be serial or parallel dangers/goals, and they can be faced together or not. In some cases, it should evene be possible to team up, if the characters can coordinate (say, via Thessla short waves commo).
I wouldn’t mark each opponent a segment, but rather progress in fight as a whole as x segments. If they are all fighting together, by whatever means, I would encourage using the teamwork rules, and abstracting the fight out.
If getting over the wall is an obstacle, an individual getting over it could do with their own action, and get over the wall, or you could work together to get everyone over.
In short, yes.
As an example, I had a magical trap on a door. One character was trying to get the door open, he got a partial success (2 segments) and triggered the trap. He then had to use a resistance roll as the trap tried to kill him.
The next round, another character was freed up, and engaged the magical trap lock, getting a partial success and finishing out the clock. The first character had one more resist roll to deal with the trap effects, then they were free to continue on.
