I had that thought too! Not sure how I’d hack it though.
One thing I love about Blades in the Dark: no stat blocks for monsters.
The lack of statblocks frees up the game so much, it is unreal.
I said this on RPG.net just now:
Bloodborne is what happens to Duskwall when the Spirit Wardens fail and the ghosts and demons take over the city. It could happen!
And like the walled-off section in Thief, it can happen to part of a city and not the rest! So, start looking maps over for your disaster site. =)
Check out the abandoned ward in the SW corner of the map. Get your Bloodborne started there. 🙂
Also has some excellent background musics for whilst playing. The Bloodborne score is a solid soundtrack for any action Gothic jaunt, with some disquieting eeriness.

Scavenging through abandoned city wards, searching for something in the wreckage of a crashed lighting-rail train, finding out that the Spirit Warden are up to something far more sinister in Bellweather with all those bodies than simply cremating them, salvaging the Leviathan hunting ship that drifted crewless into port after being missing for a decade.
