  1. Great reflections.

    Best part?

Even though each heist didn’t take long to resolve, they felt meaty and compelling. There wasn’t really any lull in the game where we planned out our strategy and prepared for contingencies. The way the game works lets you largely accomplish all of that on the fly, adding detail and depth through action and flashbacks. It felt like we got an amazing amount of fun gaming in within just three hours.

  2. Awesome! That’s high praise for both your GMing, Andrew, and the game itself. I’m so happy to see you pull a 180 from the initial frustration of your first session.

  3. Yeah, Pavel, I wouldn’t say the game is raw. It’s complete and ready to play. There are a few elements that I will certainly modify and clarify as I work on the final product, but by all means go ahead and play it now if you’re interested.

  4. Pavel Berlin In a way, our situations are similar. I have played with people who did not see the rules. I gave them the character generation page (because of the way it described actions and effects), the equipment page (because not all the entries are obvious in meaning, and they would refer to it often in play), and the actions/effects/resistance page. The only other thing they needed was the character sheet for their playbook.

For downtime and all the rest, I handled that from my materials. If you are going to translate to play, that’s how I recommend spending your energy. =)
