Want to play as Hawkers? Here’s the sheet! I did it! I hacked the Hawkers sheet from the example game shared on the Kickstarter page!
It’s not all the same. The boxes before and after each faction drove me nuts, and my group last night was confused with which side was positive and which was negative. So I erased all the annoying boxes and put in +’s and x’s. There are a few other minor things that are different and have no good reason to be (but technical FAIL). Those include a faint outline around the line on the bottom of the heat, wrong bullet points for crew advancement, no link between boxes in expertise and mastery, coin circles being a little different, and special ability text not all going to the end of the line. Aside from that, I’m feeling good about my little love letter to John Harper ‘s design skills and formatting. 🙂

I’ll have a look if you give me access permissions.
Ah! Yeah, thanks! Never actually have shared documents over G+ like this before.
Let me know if that isn’t working now. Thanks again 🙂
Nice! Now we just need to work out what the other crews might look like! 🙂
Yeah! And then we can show new crews all spiffy and pretty like this! Street performers? Pirates? Fighting school? Any ideas?
Must admit the cult group is the one that has my real interest…
We have the sheet for that:

From the Kickstrater.
The X & + on the Factions is pretty nice.
I could probably fix the missing link on expertise and mastery. I’m not sure how I’d do it (not how John did it), but I don’t think it’d take very long. The open office file I did it in is on my work computer (tons of time at work recently). I’d have to import a bunch more fonts and redo a lot of it again if I wanted to try to fix it now. But I’ll probably be able to fix it tomorrow.
Huh, don’t know how I missed that! Thanks hari capra.
Nice job hari capra!
I wonder if Workshop would make more sense as a starting mark for Hawkers: they are making drugs, right?
Not necessarily making drugs. They are selling something. It may not be drugs, and they may not be making it. You could definitely start with a workshop and say you’re making drugs. Stolen items? Smuggled items? Ancient artifacts? Supernatural stuff? Supernatural stuff harvested from leviathans or other monsters? Something like an opium den or brothel? Gems or jewelry? People smuggling (hopefully of the “we don’t like borders” kind, not the “we are slave traders” kind). I like the idea of prostitutes with some scores to settle, some secrets to barter, and some portraying women in this setting as tough to do as well.
Oliver Granger , it’s up with expertise and mastery connected. Thanks for the comments. 🙂
You’re a keen bean! Cheers!
hari capra I think your new version may not be shared publicly. I had to request permission.
Oh! Thank you Adam Minnie ! Yeah, I forgot to do that again! I’m new to sharing documents that I’ve made on G+ like this, thank you for reminding me about that part. 🙂
Okay, that should work now. Sorry about that. Thanks for catching it. 🙂
Yeah… It didn’t seem to let me actually replace one link with another, up on the top. This here is actually the one with the expertise and mastery linked: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B_bG0BM874Aba0xsSjhnTHNPMVE/edit
hari capra you may wish to modify the faction ladder details on this sheet to match the Thieves sheet in the QS. All Tier 0 are Tier 1, Dimmer Sisters are Tier 1, and some name/spelling changes.
