Ive been struck with two interesting campaign ideas in the last 2 days.

Ive been struck with two interesting campaign ideas in the last 2 days… one a very ancient setting using Roman gangs and bizarre etruscan magic, with sexy witches and lots of spilled blood (because I am a huge Roman history nerd) the other a VOTOMS underground mecha fighting ring hack where Mecha Dueling teams fight it out to be the big winners of the cities illicit sports league… So excited about this…. I think Im going to take the quickstart over to our newly ressurected FLGS this weekend and try to drum up support for the KS.

It has not escaped my notice that Blades could easily be hacked to be a sports league game too with its teamwork mechanics. Anyone want to play out the Superbowl for next year?

  1. The Patriots use deception or infiltration plans a lot… Seahawks assualt…If your playing the Baltimore Ravens you can still use Murder as your plan 😉 And of course the Cowboys and Redskins need to resort to the occult 😉

And any fans of the teams in question… its all tongue and cheek,… please don’t kill me.

  2. I don’t know VOTOMS, but I have heard it mentioned with regard to a different show I enjoy, so I can cautiously support that one.

The other one is pure win to my mind.

Please share if you get either completed, or even if you are in process to work on them.

  3. Long ago, Clinton ran a Primetime Adventures series for us that was “L.A. Confidential in Ancient Rome.” It was amazing. I played Russell Crowe (from both Gladiator and LA Confidential. 😉

  4. Oh I’m not exactly talking noir I’m talking supernatural gang wars with sex crazed baby stealing/eating venifica who can ensnare men with necromancy and erotic binding there will be hungry ghosts, Etruscan magi ….all under the stern hand of the dictator (take your pick between Sulla or Caeser)

Think all the gang war stuff in Rome.
